My name is Kabisana, and I’ve been part of the QMIS family for nine years — the last three as a member of the QMIS Rifle Club. My journey has been built on hard work, discipline and challenges. From starting at the ground level to competing nationally, I’ve learned that success comes from consistent effort, determination and the right support.
A Record-Breaking Run with the Rifle Club
In three years, our rifle team has never returned from a competition without a medal. One of my proudest moments was setting a record at the Pondicherry Open Meet, alongside eight gold medals at the State Meet. Even more remarkable: every QMIS shooter who competed at the State Meet went on to qualify for Nationals — a reflection of our entire team’s dedication.
Representing QMIS Beyond the Range
My achievements extend beyond shooting. I represented QMIS and won a silver medal at the All India Thal Sainik Camp, a prestigious national-level NCC camp held at DGNCC Camp, Delhi Cantonment. That platform helped me build confidence, discipline and leadership while representing my school nationally.

Our success isn’t just individual — QMIS has consistently won overall trophies, reflecting the talent and preparation of our students as a whole. A big part of this comes down to QMIS’s facilities and training support: a well-equipped shooting range, dedicated trainers, and practice sessions that extend to Sundays and holidays. That constant guidance is what helps us keep improving.
